10 Reasons why Michael Jackson’s Life and Death Matter

What can we learn from Michael Jackson’s Life and Death?

1. It teaches us the dangerous power of idolatry.
2. It teaches us the reality that all flesh is like grass.
3. Enormous wealth is poisonous to flesh.
4. It confirms the Biblical Truth that fallen man is given to self-destruction.
5. It was the example of a WASTED LIFE.
6. Shows us that life is a vacuum outside of Jesus Christ.
7. Is a great reminder that it’s been given unto man once to die and then the judgment.
8. It teaches us the vanity of popularity.
9. It reminds us of how short life really is.
10. Teaches us that in the end, he is just another man.

Typical born again Christian bible basher. As a lifelong Michael Jackson fan of close to 40 years, shut up! You're nothing but a bit of a kid and who are you to stand there like a disciple of Jesus. No.5 says “it was the example of a wasted life”…. where was the waste? He did more in 50 years than most of us could ever think about accomplishing in 1000 years!

  • Roxygirl40

Sue is sooo Right! <3 Michael did so much good…why can't we focus on the positives and not the *unfounded* allegations …No life is wasted…ever!

n 1984, Jackson equiped a 19-bed-unit at Mount Senai New York Medical Center. This center is part of the T.J. Martell-Foundation for leukemia and cancer research. Later in the year, he visited the Brotman Memorial Hospital, where he had been treated when he was burned very badly during the producing of a Pepsi commercial. He donated all the money he received from Pepsi, $1.5 million, to the Michael Jackson Burn Center for Children. In 1986, he set up the “Michael Jackson United Negro College Fund Endowed Scholarship Fund”. This $1.5 million fund is aimed towards students majoring in performance art and communications, with money given each year to students attending a UNCF member college or university. He donated the proceeds from the sales of The Man In The Mirror to Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, a camp for children who suffer from cancer.Jackson donated tickets to shows in is 1989 Bad Tour to underprivileged children. The proceeds from one of his shows in Los Angeles were donated to Childhelp USA, the biggest charity-organization against child-abuse. Childhelp of Southern California then established the “Michael Jackson International Institute for Research On Child Abuse”.In 1992, he established the Heal The World Foundation, whose work has included airlifting 6 tons of supplies to Sarajevo, instituting drug and alcohol abuse education and donating millions of dollars to less fortunate children.

Micheal Jacksons life was not a “waste” God used him to do good.Only God knows the heart, who is anyone to say what was in his heart …..it's not for us to judge anyone. He was God's creation and God loves him…Thankyou for bringing out the positives…

I see what is written, but why comment this on MJ?WHo are we to make such comments on him, what about other people???WHy can people not just leave hum in peace, he made right with his God?Did this guy in the video personally know MJ? I dont think so but Jesus did!!As a practicing Christian I would strrongly suggest that examples are taken out of God's Word and NOT from one that has passed on. The 10 points I read are very one sided.Do yourselves all a favour and take the fossilized age old long out of your eyes before trying to attempt taking out the splinter from another esp when they are no more!Blessings
